Technical requirements

This training was designed to be compatible with all Internet browsers and all computer operating systems (including those on mobile devices). Below are the video and audio players you will need; these are common players and you may already have them installed on your computer. Are you having unexpected issues with the media on our site that the below requirements do not address? If so, please let us know on our feedback form and we will attempt to resolve any potential issues the next time we update this training.

IMPORTANT NOTE about VIDEO and AUDIO files:

****
Your browser may warn you that that Adobe Flash or QuickTime is either potentially unsafe or that it needs permission to run on your computer. You may safely grant Adobe Flash and QuickTime permission to run on your computer. Once you grant this permission, you will be able to play these files. See media player requirements, below.
****

Video

For optimal video playback experience, it is recommended that you have the most recent Flash Player (not required on Apple mobile devices, e.g., iPod Touches, iPhones, iPads, etc.), however, if you can play the video below, you have a version of the Flash Player that should be acceptable for this training. Click video to play, click video to pause.

Click here for the most recent Flash Player, but note, 1) if you have a very slow Internet connection, the download could take a while, 2) you need administrator rights on your computer to be able to install any application - this Flash Player is no exception. If this is your personal computer, this is likely not an issue.

If you have the most recent Flash Player and can still not play this video, 1) your institution may be blocking access to Vimeo (where we are hosting our videos). One way to confirm this is to see if you have trouble getting to Vimeo.com, if so, you are blocked from Vimeo. 2) your bandwidth may be low enough that it is taking too long to load each video.

If you cannot access the videos online for any of the above reasons, you are welcome to order a CD of this training. The CD and the shipping are free of charge.

Audio

You will need the QuickTime Player to play the audio files, however, if you can play the audio file below, you have a version of the QuickTime Player that should be acceptable for this training.

Press the play button (to the left of the circular playhead).

Click here for the most recent QuickTime Player, but note, 1) if you have a very slow Internet connection, the download could take a while, 2) you need administrator rights on your computer to be able to install any application - QuickTime Player is no exception. If this is your personal computer, this is likely not an issue.

If you cannot play the audio files online for any reason, you are welcome to order a CD of this training. The CD and the shipping are free of charge.
